LEPO LORUN

Sentra Industri Lokal Lepo Lorun (STILL) merupakan salah satu bukti nyata dari usaha pelestarian barang seni bernilai tinggi yang berada di Desa Nita, Kecamatan Nita, Kabupaten Sikka, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Diprakarsai oleh Alfonsa Horeng, sentra industri ini diresmikan pada 24 Mei 2004 dan bertujuan untuk mempertahankan budaya yang sudah turun-temurun diwariskan oleh para leluhur, serta mengenalkan produk tenun ikat tersebut ke luar daerah bahkan luar negeri.

The Lepo Lorun Local Industry Center (STILL) is a clear proof of the effort to preserve high-value artistic goods in Nita Village, Nita District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Initiated by Alfonsa Horeng, this industrial center was inaugurated on May 24, 2004 and aims to maintain a culture that has been passed down from generation to generation by ancestors, as well as to introduce these ikat products outside the region and even abroad.
